A high porformance Liquid Chromatographic method for determination of chloramphenicol (CP) residue in Pork had been developed. Using this method, a good separation of CP standard Solution at concentration of 0.2, 0.5, 0.1 ug/ml could be ob-tained. The recovery were 98.2 %, 98.9 % and 99.4 %, respectively, The average recov ery of Chloramphenicol added to Pork at level of 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 PPM were 61.5 %, 60. 9 %, 65.1 %, respectively.
