This project will support the installation of automated equipment and a real-time PCR machine firstly. And an automated information system for animal inspection and quarantine will be set up year by year. Large quantity of specimens can be possibly processed sufficiently and services for farmers and the authorities of animal inspection and quarantine and biosafety of laboratories and personnel hereby be promoted. An integrated information system will be completed by connection with the automated equipment, the automated information system, and the institutions of specimen source. This integrated information system could provide a labor-saved pass way for specimen examination, epidemiological surveillance, and information analyses. Subsequently, early control actions against important zoonoses can be carried out to ensure the growth of sustainable husbandry industry and public health.
