Summary |
Sulfamonomethoxine preparations assayed by chemical titration ( sodium nitrates titration with aromatic 1 °C amine diazotization ) , UV spectophotometery (UV method) ( reacted with 3 % Vanillin and detected with UV 397 nm) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) ( column Lichrosorb RP-18, mobile phase acetonitrile:1 % acetic acid= 25:75, wavelength 280 nm ). Prednisolone preparations assayed by UV method ( reacted with tetrazolium blue and tetramethylammonium hydroxide, detected with 525 nm) and HPLC ( column Lichrosorb RP-18, mobile phase methanol: H2O=58: 42, wavelength 254 nm) These methods obtained the good results, but chemical titration and UV method couldn't differenciate different sufadrugs or prenisolone base with its salts. However HPLC could solve these problem.
