Summary |
Porcine circovirus type 2 represents the causative agent of a new porcine disease which spread all over the world during the past several years. In this study, viral DNA of a Taiwanese PCV2 strain was extracted and its open reading frame 2 (ORF2) gene was amplified by PCR. The PCR product was purified and then cloned into the pCI-neo vectors. The recombinant vector was transfected into PK-15 cells. The recombinant protein was expressed successfully in PK-15 cells, which could be detected by using indirect immunofluorescence assay and Western blotting analysis. |
