In order to solve the coming threat from disease, we propose to organize an expert team made of industry, academy and government official. Animal behavior, Environmental microbiology, Animal breeding, Veterinary Economy, Epidemiology, Animal Nutrition, hygiene management of pig farm, Veterinary Pathology, etc. will be applied to investigate the disease situation under different production system. A most appropriate pig farm sanitary and production model with high economical efficiency for Taiwanese warm and humid climate can then be proposed.
