Research Information Genomic analysis of avian infectious bronchitis virus Taiwan isolated

Plan Year: 2004
Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is a major cause of economic losses in the poultry industry and can be involved in respiratory disease, nephritis, and poor egg production and quality. To group infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) isolates, a genetic grouping method based on hypervariable region 1 (HVR 1), Taiwan isolates could not be placed within the existing groups. A phylogenetic tree based on sequences obtained showed that the IBV isolated in Taiwan, fell into the genotype Taiwan I and II. In order to study of infectious bronchitis viruses in Taiwan, the plan to sequencing full-length genome of the infectious bronchitis viruses isolated in Taiwan.
