Summary

Eleven naturally inftr1 tukei-culous cows were intra&rmally incculaterl wrth takerculins in the skin of neck and caudal fold. By caudal incoilation, the pcxsitive rat was 27.2%, which was significantly droced as compared with pcsitive rate toi at Iffore. The mean of skin swelling (3.37±2.17) only showed a half of thickness of petest (6,61±1 .7. The regeai tulrrculin incculation at 3 weeks interval was not adecpiat, kecause it would significantly rednce sensitivity of skin delayed hypersensitivity (P<O.CO1). The senstitivity of skin t on the neck were significantly higher than on the caudal fold (pcO.COl). The mcst intensive reactions (dermal thickness) were oberved at 48 and 72 hours. Calves exerimen1ly infected with Mycthecterium bovis showed skin delayed hyrrsensitivity on the third week, and reacllbDtherakatthe7thand 8thwek. Itdropelrapidlyafterthe9thwek.
