Summary |
Lyophilized bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) vaccines were Prepared using four recommended stabilizing mediums., !0%NZ-Amine, !%Albumin, 2 %Peptone and 0.3% PVP (Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone) . These four vaccines were compared with each other relative to their suitability for (I) . Appearance and solubility characteristics ; (2) . ma-intaining virus titers during lyophilization ; (3) . quality of restoration ; C 4) . maintaing stable of virus titers and antigenicity under various storage temperatures.
From the results, it may be possible to prepare a more satisfactory vaccine with a medium prepared from components of 0.3%PVP. This may be worthy of investigation at a later date.
