Recently, porcine circovirus type2 represents the causative agent of a new porcine disease which spread in form of an epidemic all over the world in the past years. This study is to extracte viral DNA was from Taiwanese PCV2, ORF1- and ORF2-encoding region was amplified by PCR. The PCR product was inserted into the different vector, expression and detected with anti-PCV2 polyclonal antibody by Western blotting. Recombinant ORF1 and ORF2 protein will be purified with HisTrap column, and coated on the well surface of 96-well ELISA plates. The antibodies titers of the sera from different farms and age groups are determined by ELISA. On the other hand, real-time PCR will be application to detect antigens of PCV2 in serums.
