1. Veterinary chemical drugs: The project contains several service items including inspecting the quality of veterinary drugs for the registration certificate and on shelf, participating in GMP audit, analyzing the feed additives to prevent from illegal drugs, abusing feed additives and minimize the negative impact on health of consumers. Our goal in 2004 is inspecting veterinary drugs about 600 cases and feed additives about 1,500 cases. 2. Veterinary biologics: For the prevention of infectious disease, the use of vaccine is inevitable. The farmers benefit is protected after inspection of animal biological products. The purpose of this program is to fulfill: (1) We will assay over 1,300 batches of animal biological products. (2) To perform CNLA training and inspection. 

(二) 飼料中沙利黴素檢定技術之研究及發展: According to “Feed Additive Compendium”, the salinomycin can be used only on poultry feeds (50-70 ppm) to prevent coccidiosis. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods using post-column derivation with vanillin were described for the determination of salinomycin. This project tries to compare with the system suitability among different methods. So that a proper analysis method is created in the lab to identify and prevent from abusing feed additives. 

For produces experimental animals, the purposes of this program were set up to cover the following topics: 1. Critical biosecurity measures. 2. To produce 100,000 SPF eggs and ,3000 SPF chickens for every year.
