Summary

Eight strains of cxxcidiae ‘wit isolatl from the fields with oxcidiosis. Six strains of them were Eimeria enella, and 2 other strains were unknowsn seDies. Six anticxxcidial drugs, including amgolium (1 2Oppm), ]asalccid (75 ppm), maduramicin (5 ppm), nicarbazin (125 ppm), salinomycin (60 ppm) and Esb3 (lSOppm) were tesJ
UlfllUflJ for their efficacy in gevenbg oxcidiosis in SPF chickens thfated with 3 strains of E.
tenella. The result indicate that one strain is resisnt to all the drugs tested and another 2 strains is sensitive variably only to nicarbazin, amprcdium and Esb3. In conclusion, some of the field isolates of oxcidia in Taiwan axe iesisnt to anticccidial drugs.
