Summary

Four weeks old sific pathogen free chickens were immuned with infectious bursal disease living vaccine, Serum neutralization (SN) antibDdy was pi-cduced 1 week aft vaxxination, the peak of SN antibdy titer was 161 at the third week and it still remained 24 at six week aft vaccination. Chickens with maternal anti&dy tit abve 8, were vaccinated, the maternal antibzdy titer dropped quickly and there were no active immune response afterward.

Three week old thickens had maternal antibndy abcwe &1 horn parent could survive challenge by virulent infectious bursal disease virus, Therefore, passive immunization of mother hen is an ideal immune gogram for broider
