Summary

Based on the stdies of viral characterization and amino acid s’ences, the
antigenicaty of hog cholera virus letwen LPC vxines stain and field isolate was analyi. Thirty-six field isolates Chcen horn? different restriction ttems were
tested by exaltation of Newcastle disease (END) methcd and B- interference test. The result that34isolatekelongeltothehigldyvirulentstainsand2isolates
kelonged to the less-virulent strains. LPC vacdne strain could ke distinguished from U1flJflY ALD stain by determination of plaque sis indirect irnmuno-peroxidase plaque
staining test (lIPS), however, the field isolates always exMbitMdiffeaplaquesizs. By comparing the B) El and £2 glycoprotein gene se4nences ketween LPC and AU) strain, the similarity of amino acids was 94.7%, however, there was a highly variable regionintheBdomainoftheE2gene. lnthishighlyvariableregion,sixinl0amino acids were different ketween suences 471 to 480.
