    The food-borne diseases in animal and in human caused by bacteria especially by Salmonella are recognized as a major problem of animal production and hygiene.  The purpose of this study is to develop a PCR-based diagnostic kit to rapid identify Salmonella in clinical specimens.  Procedures including selection of specific and suitable gene targets, standardization of the test, determination of specificity and sensitivity of the test and trials of detection of Salmonella in feces specimens will be comprised in this project.
