Summary

A reverse transaiption-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay was clevelored tc detect the cxD’ntamunation of rabbit haernorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) in lapunii hog cholera vune. Two primer set, RHDV-P1IRHDV-P2 and RHDV-P5iRHDV-P6, were used for the RT-PCR prcditing two DNA fragment, 658 bp and 261 UIfla, respatively. No RHDV was deectal in 105 lot of lapunized hog cholera vaccine collect! from 1998 199). lii confrol studies, SPF pigs received RHDV did not develop any synjnu and no RHDV activity was det.tM by RT-PCR, however rabbit receiver] low tier of RHDV result] in ersisent infection.
